AmeriCorps Programming at ICRI

AmeriCorps State and National:
Bridge to Prosperity

ICRI specializes in providing educational and social support program to refugee youth ages 7-18 in the Omaha metro area. Through after-school STEM clubs and one-on-one peer mentoring, youth benefit from extracurricular academic, social, and emotional support. This work is done through a partnership with AmeriCorps State and National–nearly all of our Mentors and Youth Specialists serve our youth through the AmeriCorps program.

Our members are able to gain valuable experience and serve their communities while earning a living stipend. Once their service hours are completed, they are eligible for an education award.

AmeriCorps VISTA:
Operations Support

ICRI has two VISTA positions that support our agency with Communications and Development.
We’re looking for retired professionals looking to give back or new career professionals who are interested in getting experience working in the field alongside our team of experienced and dedicated staff. AmeriCorps VISTA is a unique opportunity to serve our communities while earning a modest living stipend and an education award upon successful completion.
