International Council for Refugees and Immigrants is Non-Profit Organization and not associated with political and religious entities. It’s registered in Iowa, Nebraska and South Dakota.

Mission Statement

International Council for Refugees and Immigrants delivers immediate philanthropic support to equip vulnerable, undeserved and marginalized refugees and immigrant’s populations by providing client centered services and advocacy.

Vision

Becoming a national model for refugees and Immigrant in advocacy and service delivery by implementing empirically informed practices and data driven outcomes.

RAISED Program

Refugees and Immigrants Social and Economic Development (RAISED) is client centered, multi-dimensional and holistic approach of aiding, empowerment, and education. The NGO serves refugees, immigrants, Asylees, victims of international human trafficking through comprehensive case management. Our Services include extended cultural orientation, translation/Interpretations Services, information dissemination so that immigrants and refugees can make informed decisions.

Advocacy

International Council for Refugees and Immigrants are led and governed by former refugees and non-refugees staff and volunteers who possess deep knowledge, relevant experience and expertise who are willing to successfully challenge policies that are discriminatory in nature by enlightening policy makers and empowering the refugees and immigrant communities by amplifying their voices through coaching, training and education.

Research

The International Council for Refugees and Immigrants is currently working with multiple higher education systems and scholars to develop evidence based service delivery model. International Council for Refugees and Immigrants (ICRI) is currently working with local universities to develop Refugee Youth Mentoring Model. International Council for Refugees and Immigrants is interested to partner with scholars and institutions whose areas of research involve Health and Housing disparities, Economic Impact, Social Acculturation, Behavioral Health, and Civic Engagement.
